Day 22: Solo Shopping and Uneventful Sunday

I feel so "adult" now

Today had been rather uneventful. I spent my afternoon playing Torchlight II (love the Engineer class in this game, better than Outlander, which I thought I'd like more because I loved the Vanquisher class in Torchlight I), and watching Shingeki no Kyojin. Plot has thickened in that show, but it's rather obvious that I've reached the halfway mark on a 25 episode series. See, I don't know if it's really just how Japanese anime works or what, but especially with the newer ones, they tend to end an arc or something after 10 to 12 episodes. A 24 to 26 episode series then more or less would have two arcs. In Shingeki, the arcs don't seem as pronounced, but the show hit somewhat of a climax at episode 12 or 13, so I'm thinking arc 1 ends and arc 2 begins on the 13th episode.

Or maybe I'm over thinking things again, I dunno, hahaha. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm bored that's why I'm counting episodes; it's quite the opposite, and I don't want this anime to have a flat ending like some other 24 to 26 episode animes I've watched recently.

Evening signaled the start of the usual Sunday evening routine, although today, it had been a little different. My brothers both had something to do and my mother was away because she was visiting our province property. This meant that I had to go alone. It's not really the first time this happened though, it's just that, it happens so rarely it feels a bit foreign to me. I went to mass alone and did grocery shopping alone too. I wonder if I should treat this as a sign that pretty soon I'd be living independently from my parents or as practice for when that happens.

Time will tell I guess. For now, here's to hoping tomorrow would be more eventful and interesting than today. Have a great start of the week tomorrow!
