Day 4: Gift Wrapping and Unexpected Class

Got my work cut out for me tonight.

Today had been a really great day. While it started out on a frantic and positively panic inducing note: subjects were being opened in the University I worked in with no professors to handle them, thank God I was still able to turn the day into something productive and inspiring. God was at work on me today, I felt, which I'm really glad about.

Since the retake class of my former failing students did not yet have a formal professor or instructor, and since I don't have a class assigned to me yet, I asked the chairperson of our college if I could visit that class and talk to them a little, maybe give them a little advice. I didn't expect that even those who weren't my former students also approached me to ask for advice as well.

Soon, the conversations I was having with them turned to the issues they had with their parents because of their grades. Thank God for Romans 13:1, I was able to tell them how these things are normal for college students, that they should not treat it as their parents being antagonistic, and that they should continue to obey their parents because their parents have authority over them because God designates them as their superiors.

All in all, it was a really satisfying hour or so. I love this job.

Now though, I  have to wrap the gifts I would be giving to my very special someone. Since she already knows the gifts I'd be giving her (she told me a few weeks ago that they wanted them, but she couldn't go out and buy them due to her work), I would instead try to surprise her by wrapping the gifts in a special way. I really hope she likes what I do to the gifts. :D

Also, note to self. Adjust white balance in future photos.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
